Well Christmas is really upon us as we offer further Tree Services to our Clients. Here we have Landmark erecting the Queens “gifted” tree to Windsor town centre outside Windsor Castle. We have undertaken this for the last 6 years now and it provides us with a range of challenging problems which we have learnt to overcome and adapt to.
We erect and take down many christmas tree for large organisations such other borough councils and estates and indeed we have been erecting and removing the larger christmas trees for the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square for many years.
We turn our eye towards planting now as the first few frosts hit the ground and lifting of bare rooted trees and plants gets under way. We have started planting car parks, woodlands, parks and various hedges across the thames valley.
Tree works still form a large part of our works as we have expanded both the tree teams and log yard staff. We now run four team ! a day for the at least half of the week and most weekends are being worked to meet demand.
Thinking back to this time last year we were about to be engulfed by snow and this brought operations to a slower pace. Whilst we work in almost balmy conditions some days, the snow seems so very far away.
